NEW TO BOATING? Here at Hobbs we have a wealth of experience, and our working knowledge of The Thames dates back five generations and 146 years. We can offer training, guidance and assistance if required. We can also arrange for you to gain formal qualifications whilst enjoying your membership. Our Partnership with Bisham Abbey Navigation School enables their instructors to train and asses whilst skippering your Henley Boat Club Boat, and the IWHC (Inland Waterways Helmsman Certificate) would be your first step. The Henley Boat Club is an ideal way to learn and gain confidence on the water!
